Beni is a Japanese pop singer born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan on March 30, 1986. She made her debut in 2004 under Avex Trax under the name Beni Arashiro. When she transferred to Universal Music Japan, her name changed to the mononym BENI in 2008. Beni is also known for singing the Japanese version of the song Call Me, Beep Me from the Disney channel show Kim Possible.

BoA is a Korean pop singer who is active in South Korea, Japan, and also the United States. She started her korean debut in August, 2000 and has released over 5 Korean albums, over 5 Japanese albums, and so far as of 2012 one English album.

Her birth name is Kwon Boa but stylized as BoA but also says it stands for Best of Asia and Beat of Angel. She has also been referred to as the Queen of Korean Pop.

Her US debut songs were Eat You Up in 2008 and she demonstrated her multilingual skills with her english songs.

She has contributed some songs to video games as well including Tales of Graces and Ninety-Nine Nights. She also has done a song for the anime InuYasha, Monkey Typhoon, and also the Japanese release of Over the Hedge theme song.
