Straightener is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1998. They are signed with Awake Sounds with is a sub-label of Emi Music Japan. Horie Atsushi also plays the guitar, piano, and synthesizer in some of their songs. They are more of an alternative softer rock band.

They have released several albums before they even signed under their music label.
