TVXQ also known as Tong Vfang Xien Qi is a South Korean pop group. They formed in 2003 under SM Entertainment. In South Korea they are known as DBSK which is Dong Bang Shin Ki. In Japan they are also called Tohoshinki. Their name if translated means The Rising Gods of the East. The band was initially 5 members which consister of the leader U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu. However, in 2009 the latter three members left and the group went on a hiatus that lasted for a period of 2 years and 3 months. They returned with the 2 above active members and are now a duo.
