Girugamesh is a visual kei rock band. They formed in 2003 and their name is derived from Gilgamesh, an acient king. Their first gig was done while the members were still in high school. The band's first single made it at rank 10 on the Oricon Indies chart: Kaisen Sengen. Finally the band went on their nationwide tour in 2005 and later got signed by Gan Shin in Europe.
