Mucc is a japanese rock/alternative band that formed in 1997. In 2001 they were assigned to Danger Crue and sublabel Shu. In 2005 they debuted in Europe and performed at Wacken Open Air. In 2006 they performed in the US at the anime convention Otakon and the next year attended the JRock Revolution Festival. They continued to participate in other tours across the US and Canada and at the Taste of Chaos 2008 tour, stopping at 40 cities in the area. The band is known to incorporate post-disco, dance, hard rock, and metal altogether to give it a unique and fresh sound.
