Shiina Ringo
Shiina aka Sheena is a Japanese pop/rock singer that is known mainly for her nasally voice. She was born with an esophageal atresia which is the narrowing of the esophagus as it approaches the stomach. After several surgeries which included one that had to have her right shoulder blade to be cut open, it gave the impression that an angel's wings were removed.
She has been signed with EMI Music Japan as of 1998 which is when her career started.
