MINMI aka Michiko Evwana is a Japanese pop/reggae, soca singer born December 8, 1974. She is the first soca artist from Japan. She is signed under Universal Music Group and has been active since 1996. She is also married to Wakadanna who is from the Japanese reggae group Shonan no Kaze. Her 2002 debut single was The Perfect Vision which went on to sell over 500,000 copies. For all of you Jamaican music fans, you will love her!
